Band replacement must ship to Timex & $10.00 June 25, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I had this watch for several months and still think its a great watch but you should know this: I needed to put the watch in my pants pocket for a brief time and the flexing removed the band.
I have tried to have it replaced in a store but no store could do it with that band.
I checked with Timex and received this response.
- - I am sorry about the problem with your watch. Unfortunately, that watch does not have a user replaceable band. You would need to send it in to Timex to have the band replaced. The cost for the band replacement is $10.00 plus any applicable tax. The address to send the watch to is Hotline Watch Service PO Box 8009 Little Rock, AR 72203 Please include your return shipping information, a note stating that you need a band replacement and a check or money order for $10.00 made payable to Timex.
Sincerely,

Easily my favorite watch ever. June 15, 2008 I own two of these watches, one for everyday and the other for the gym although they get alternated frequently. Had them for over 2 years already. I've never had an issue with the band, with the water, the battery, or anything for that matter. Have to buy a 3rd b/c my sister in law wants one of mine. Considering its been on vacations, my son tries his hardest to break it(toddler), I lift weights and exercise with it, etc., I can't imagine others are putting there watch thru more rigors. Great watch, pretty easy to use, looks good, and has great qualities. I'm sure as long as they continue to make it I'll keep buying the same exact one.
Great Watch. Tricky battery replacement. June 8, 2008 This really is a great watch - lightweight, easy to use, with more features than many will find necessary. However, upon changing the battery - which is a bit tricky anyway - all of the buttons stopped working. I took the battery out two more times and messed with it, but only got one button working. the one button worked for about a month, and now the whole watch has gone dead. I don't know what to make of it. Otherwise, this is a great watch. No band problems whatsoever. I used it swimming, biking, and running.
Full feature watch in slim package June 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am a long time user of the Timex Ironman watch models. This is by far the best. I get all the features I like in the Ironman in a slim light weight watch. I forget its on my wrist.
Perfect for what I needed June 2, 2008 Very light watch, perfect for tracking your runs, the only con is the buttons a little tricky to save and recall your runs.
