Customer Reviews:
Swiss watch without the price of a swiss watch October 14, 2008 I'm a big Oris and Tag guy. I wasn't sure what to expect from this product but when it arrived I was extremely pleased. Great quality and craftsmanship. I will be purchasing another Invicta watch.
Very nice. September 24, 2008 This watch is big but very nice. The color combination is very nice and elegant.
Decent watch for the price September 19, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
You get what you pay for. I would say this watch is worth $99, and quite frankly, you can't buy a fine swiss watch for that price. I own several, including Tag, Rolex, Omega, and Movado. This piece does not approach any of those in quality or feel, which is how it should be considering the cost. This watch keeps good time, is WR to 100M, and has a sapphire crystal, which are all positives.
I do have a couple of complaints. The description states that one of the sub-dials is for 1/10 sec. This is not true, the 6:00 sub-dial shows the date, which is totally worthless because it is almost illegible, and the date is already displayed at the 4:00 position. The pointer for the 30 min sub-dial does not line up perfectly with the display marks, and the hands, which Invicta says should glow for 20 hours, do not illuminate in the dark at all.
Overall, given the price point, I am satisfied. However, if I had known all of the negatives in advance, I probably would not have even spent the $99.
Nice but can't see dial in the dark September 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great watch. Cannot see the dial well in the dark. Instructions are vague.Dial is too cluttered. Runs great. Good price.
Nice value for a swiss watch July 14, 2008 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this watch for myself right before father's day, so I've been wearing it for several weeks. It's a very nice watch. The embossed finish on the face of the watch is really much more attractive than the photograph indicates and it's drawn a lot of compliments. This is a massive watch - it's larger than most men's watches and it's very heavy. That being said, it's not uncomfortable to wear casually. This watch has two date indicators with one easy-to-read number located at the 4 o-clock spot, and also a calendar dial function with 31 tick marks located at the 6 o-clock spot. To me, the dial calendar is useless as it is hard to read and duplicates a function already on the watch. The stop watch buttons feel a bit squishy to me, with no definite 'click' to indicate stop and start. Also, the stop watch only measures seconds - no tenths. These complaints are minor though. The overall quality of this watch is very high and I believe it to be an excellent value for a swiss watch. I bought it at the amazon sale price and received the 4 year extended warranty for free. Invicta returned the paperwork on the warranty registration in less than one week.
